Ministry
Faith To Live By reaches Canadians from coast to coast to coast through regular television and radio broadcasts. Each episode, whether Sunday or throughout the week, includes a sermon, Gospel songs, and a question-and-answer segment titled “The Bible Has the Answer.” Our additional resources are available free of charge, as we trust the Lord to provide for our every need.
Resources
Each of our resources is designed to evangelize the lost and equip, strengthen, and encourage the Body of Christ. We produce and distribute CDs of hymns and traditional music as well as books, Bible tracts, calendars, and recordings of Scripture readings. Our prayer is that the Lord would bless the Gospel message to every heart, in whatever medium it is proclaimed.
Who We Are
Founded by Pastor H.H. Barber (1922-2020) in 1962, Faith To Live By is now presented and administered by his son, Pastor Jim Barber. A graduate of the University of Winnipeg and Winnipeg Theological Seminary, Pastor Jim has served as a Bible college instructor in Monrovia, Liberia and Peterborough, Ontario. He has pastored in Terrace, British Columbia and is the founding pastor of Faith Bible Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He lives in Winnipeg with his wife Charlene. They have three adult daughters and a son-in-law.
Andrea Whiteside is the Administrative Assistant of Faith To Live By and Faith Bible Church of Winnipeg. She is a graduate of New Brunswick Bible Institute and lives in Winnipeg with her husband Bennett. Andrea is often our ministry’s first point of contact, whether by phone, email, or the post.
